your case just like mine I applied on 15 th august 1016 received by morocco office on September 2016 and still waiting and no response,they keep telling me is on process.

I am from Morocco and the process for the file should take 12 months and now is 15 months and nothing happened ,all they say in "we are doing background check"..

I applied for my wife and IRCC telling us that they are doing background check.However,this is taking more that normal How long the background check take?

I know this but I am surprised becasue both us me and my wife and ordinary people ,she has never been to any organization or governmental involvements . how long the background check normally take?
