Hey guys, just wondering when they email confirmation of the appointment for the Citizenship ceremony? My status got updated on Feb 15 but I have yet to receive an official invite with instructions.

Got my Oath date! Whoop whoop Scheduled on March 17, 2022. It's got updated in the tracker on Feb 15. Haven't received instructions yet.

Physical presence, Language skills, Prohibitions were updated to "completed" on January 18th 2022.

I'm from Alberta, Calgary and I have the same thing: it says BG check completed on July 15. Silence since... Although, I'm very happy for other people getting their test invites but complaining about test dates scheduled for next year is a little bit frustrating for us who is still waiting for...

The background verification switched to "completed" as of July 14, 2021.

Hi guys, I got my AOR today as well. Jan 29

I got exactly the same: We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 13, 2020. We started processing your application on January 22, 2021.

Just checked ECAS and it says "Application received". No other details or AOR. But I'm happy they didn't lose it.

All applicants whose Apps received July 13 seem to be cursed lol

I literally have no chances of getting a permanent job without having citizenship. Them delaying the process makes me feel really down. I should have sent the app in as "urgent".

My hope is not to get the app back after waiting for 5 months. As long as they are going to accept it, I am willing to wait.

It seems, we have several people whose apps were received on Jul 13th. On one hand, I am relieved I am not the only one, but on another, it's sad we haven't gotten AORs yet.

Nothing for me yet as well (Jul 13th rec'd). Submitted a Web form, got an answer in 14 days saying that my app is not in the system. Duh! Like I didn't know about it already.

I haven't received my AOR as well. They received my app on Jul 13. Submitted several requests through web-form with no results. Nothing I can do at this point.
