May 9th 2016 is when I submitted it. I had heard there were delays, and the notification gave me hope they were still working on it. But it says that even now, so I think they forgot about it unfortunately.

I applied for my permit extension in 2016 two months before expiry. Up until know, it says to wait until they contact me but I can't wait anymore. That wait also meant I couldn't apply for PGWP because a valid permit is required. According to the application, my documents were complete too...
