The name on your passport

If you are referring to the VFS tracking system, you have to use the REFERENCE number given on the Receipt. Format is LKAC/**0918/****/**

Some people say 3-5 days. I don't know the exact number of days... for me it took exactly 14 days. All I can say is don't wait for the VFS tracking, just call them often. I called VFS almost 2 times a day.

Make sure you are using REFERENCE NUMBER not Tracking Number. Reference number is found on the receipt they gave you at VFS. It will be in this format: LKAC/******/****/** When did you submit your passport?

Yeah not to worry, you will get it soon. Its better not to send an email unless it is past their 12 months time frame.

That's the same thing they told me when I submitted 11 days back!!

@Achutheepan I remember it took more than a week for you to get your passport back from VFS. How long did it take and did you email the high commission while waiting? Its been over 10 days since I submitted my passport....
