I applied for Surrender of citizenship and OCI together on 3rd Jan and BLS Toronto. I received my cancelled passport and surrender certificate through Purolator today. In all less than 3 weeks to receive this. However for my OCI application when i go on the BLS tracker it still says "Processing...

You don't need surrender certificate before applying for oci, you can submit both together. Better to visit BLS for this.

Hello Dipashah, Not sure about point 1. For point 2/3/4 - i believe on bls website the checklist guides you. Hope this helps.

My status online is still showing Decision Made even though my oath ceremony was done on Saturday. Does this change to completed?

Took the oath yesterday at the University of Toronto convocation hall. There were 502 applicants. Wonderful ceremony. Hope everyone else gets their oath invitations soon and can proudly say that they are now officially Canadian.

Hello friends, can someone guide me as to what documents need to be uploaded on the mha website for the oci. Also another question is i live in a rented condo, everytime i change my condo or supposed i change my job, do i need to revise my oci card? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. So we don't need to take photocopies with the guarantor's signature? Also it seems that there is no need to wait for 2 days after ceremony to apply for passport, we can go on the next day and apply for one. Is that true?

When we apply for the passport in person at the passport office, do we need to take photocopies of the landed immigrant paper and id. Thank you for your reply. My ceremony is at University of Toronto convocation hall, i guess there shouldn't be a space issue. Also on the cic webpage it says...
