My OCI application package was delivered on Tuesday. When I checked the BLS website today, it says no record found. Does it take few days/a week for the status to update? I sent it via Purolator (not BLS).

Great, that’s good to know. When I called the BLS customer support, they told me sending it via them was the only option. Which is your BLS center? BLS Purolator is too expensive. $120 for two way per application is crazy when I need to send three applications. I will check my local purolator...

Also, I will submitting a postal application (nearest BLS center is > 300 kms). Can I use any courier service or does it have to be only Purolator via BLS?

Applied online on the FBI website. Had to send fingerprints via courier. You can get the fingerprints done at your local police department office or you can try to find private fingerprinting services around you. Both places charged more or less same where I live.

Yes, we were able to submit a group application online. Not sure when they started accepting it though. I had created the group application roughly a month ago.

Their standard textbook reply. I was asked to call back on Nov. 1, 2022 to see what the status is. Based on the experiences here, I have very little hope it will be resolved by then so I will call them again on 1st to see what's going on.
