After doing the landing, am I eligible to work right away or do I need to wait to officially have my PR card?

I uploaded mine 35 days ago. They haven't reviewed my file yet. I think they'll wait till the 2 months period to work on the file again. My deadline to upload RCMP would be this Saturday April 22. We will see if there's any movement this week or next week. My AOR is Jan 24

I know the frustration and anxiety man. I'm aor jan 24 and haven't seen any changes since my background went IP 1 on March 6. Just waiting on my GCMS notes to arrive in a week to assess the situation.

Passport gets stamped and returned. 1-10days. Then usually you get to land within one year. I've seen cases where people got only 4 months max to land.

Yes it was uploaded. If your background check went from not started to in progress, it already states that they have received the provided documents and already working on the next steps of your application.

he didn't do rcmp upfront. they requested from him on 14-03-2017, submitted on 22-03-2017 and got PPR 23-03-2017. I submitted rcmp on 1/3/2017 and BG still IP since then. :(

Try attaching a letter or proof that you need your passport back to travel. It might help
