How many days it took from submitting passport to receiving stamp on it??

Well most cases they don’t acknowledge the client. But I think u ll see the change when your background check.

You mean update the file regarding your dependent??? Or your X-ray report?

Oh u mean how long it took to start background check.?? Mine took 10 months after application received.

Hi guys. Please advice. I received “pre arival letter” on mar 28,2017 and next day mar 29 “Decision made”. Is the decision positive? I mean, it just says ecision made” but not what decision. So I am worrying if the decision is positive.

Seems pretty normal. I received pre arrival letter exactly one month after the background check started. And next day of pre arrival, I got DM. Now I am waiting for ppr.

That’s the meaning when “submitted” changes to “updated”

It means you are about to get PRE ARRIVAL or DECISION MADE with in 1-2 days. But I think consulate is close for 4 days now. So may be on next Tuesday or Wednesday (April 3 or 4) you will get it.

Do not worry. I was worried too. Delays just depends on officer, who is handling our case. Some are fast other are not. Some have complicated cases which makes our case late in the que.

Not sure. But at this point I don’t think they will interview you. I think you will be receiving Passport request for visa stamp.
