From personal experience, you have to appy for PGWP first, wait until you get a response, and if it is positive, before you can apply for a new TRV. They will not issue a new TRV because you do not have have a future status as of now :)

Thank you for pointing that out! Indeed I went right after sending that message yesterday to my account, and checked the box. I got a "no update" email right after checking it. I checked my account today again and saw that my PGWP had been approved! Yayy! I still havent received a message...

Im getting super worried. I applied on March 15 (42 days ago) and I have received absolutely no update email. Nothing at all. The only email I received was on March 15th saying that my application had been submitted. Anybody else that didnt receive an update after that long?

@snoua052 I am currently in Cameroon and did the exact same mistake you did. I just have a question, did you apply for trv with a study permit or with PGWP? Can you tell me what supporting documents you provided please? Thank you!
