    Thank you for your comment!! I forgot where I heard somewhere that students have to apply within 90days after they finish their courses because you have to have a legal status when waiting for the PGWP. And since the PGWP comes during the 90 days period I thought I will lose status...

    Thank you for the reply!! The reason I decided to go with WP extension is because it makes my anxious with the time in between passport renewing and the 90days rule. I would rather just take more time on the extension. But I will go call them in the very morning tomorrow! Thank you for your advice!

    This may be a dumb question, but I find the CIC website a little confusing. I can't contact CIC, and it seems like no one in the forum has the same question as I do. It says "you do not need to pay" and there is an "If..." So does this mean I do not need to pay for my extension application or...
