Can anyone tell in how many days a person get her passport after submitting to VFS global ?

Hi guys, got DM .....Nov 2 applicant(date of submission)..Can anyone tell , is there is any Visa office in Jalandhar ?...... Presently I am located in Bangalore & do I need to go in person for stamping on Visa or I can just courier my passport ?

Ncheery - any Oct applicant got ppr ?....I can see the last applicant that got ppr is 19th September.
