Hey Guys, We got passport request 10 days ago, still ECAS nor GCkeys says a decision has been made. Is it normal? It says online that '' Passport request letter Once an application has been approved and a final decision has been entered, the processing office must send the ‘Passport Request’...

And the online system still says they haven't started background check, that the new document we submitted are still under review.... ECAS still says our app is in process... Don't bother too much looking at the online system seems like they update it only until the really end...

Hey!.... Got PPR wednesday!!!! :D! Anyone knows what is next? We have to send the passport to Mexico embassy...How long is it for them to return it back? When should we receive COPR? So happy this process if finally almost over!! Good luck for everyone and keep your head up.. our application...

I never received an AOR2 email...only on ecas someday i found out they 'started processing'

Why FBI?? You lived in the USA? It can be extended if everything else is done and if thereforee it would be the only reason not to be approving you.

You rather aim for 12 months and be surprised if it comes before..... We aim for 6 months and are suffereing since January hahaha!! Around the world it is so fast,....except Mexico -_-

App received July 17... takes a lifetime!

Received pre-arrival letter yesterday. What does that mean exactly in the process? How long does it take usually 'til the next step (decision made) ? Thank you :)

The thing is that it never went to court... the police made a kind of meditation and it was resolved right away. Police doesnt own these documents anymore... they were rude with us they told us '' dont you read the police certificate? it says it is CLEARED 18 years ago...you really think we...

No, was just replying to Majesty that I can't think that she's waiting 13.5 months now without them asking new documents... As for my case, they just sent me a bunch of new documents I need to send and it's been 8 months since we applied... I guess the fact of them asking us more document maybe...

And how is significant age difference? I have 12 years with hubby and I dont even consider like a significant age difference ... I don't know what standards are for that. After 6 years of relationship they still question if your relationship is real or not ?:\
