Well i got my 2nd photo request today (which means the two sets of pictures taken from different places that i sent them were not fine - 1 set i took from younge sheppard photo center and the other one from the Shoppers Drug Mart). So anyone here who has been successful in getting their pictures...

I called them right now, they told me to wait another 3 weeks (apparently the customer rep did put in a note in the system though to ask for an update on my case). He did not tell me what date they are working on so if anyone else calls, please find out.

Yes this does not make sense. I called them on July 6th and last week (July 26th) and both times they told me that they are still working on photos received uptil June 4th. And my pictures were delivered to them on June 1st so everytime i called i was told that I should wait a couple more days...

Thank you, that helps my nerves otherwise I was thinking why there is no update on IRCc yet. So one can hope that it's probably okay and I will just recieve them in the mail one day.

Great news! I have a similar timeline, can you tell me if you received any status update email from CIC or status change online when you log in before you recieved the card in the mail?

I'm That's the number I use to call them too but I do get through. Maybe you are calling internationally (I am calling from within canada) that's why it says invalid. Try adding 001 before the number.

Photos reached CIC on 1st June. When i called last friday (6th July), they said they were processing photos received uptil June 4th but my profile still shows submitted. If anyone gets an update or gets through to them on the phone, do update here.

Yes i couriered to Sydney, NS. Yes so we have different people received it i guess because mine was signed by Thomas Allen. It was through express post (canada post) and tracking says it was received on 1st June.

Anyone who used the courier address.. mine is showing that it was received by someone called Thomas Allen. Does anyone get the same name when they track ?

Just called CIC. They are currently working on pictures received on up till 4th June (Monday). My pictures reached 1st June which was the Friday before so they said just give it a few more days since they dont have any notes on their system yet and call back next week for an update.

So new pictures finally reached CIC today (1st June). Tracking says that the name of the person who recieved them is Thomas Allen. Hope some of you have seen the same name on your tracking receipts when you sent out your photos.

Haha that is a crazy theory! It would be really unprofessional of them and they could get in serious trouble if they were actually doing that stuff. But we will never know.
