Many of the agents I approached refused to even look at my profile when I told them about my study gap. They were 110% sure that I wouldn't get a visa. I'm positive that if you're financials are good, you'll get the visa.

You should get your passport in a week. They take 5-10 working days. So I'd say you'll get it by the 1st of September or the 4th.

Hello, My dad sponsored me for my studies. He showed around 25000CAD in his savings account. I attached his bank statement of 6 months. And he got an affidavit listing his savings account, fixed deposits and property which would be used to sponsor me. That's it. Hope it helps.
