Won't marrying after landing entail that I got back to my home country and get married there? Which would also mean I need my PR Card before going home? Otherwise, I won't be able to enter Canada? PS. I understand someone can courier me my PR card but that's a different point.

When a recently approved Permanent Resident gets a CoPR and VISA Stamp, leaves Canada, gets married, flies back to Canada, and enter as a PR, will it jeopardize any future plans of Sponsoring the new wife outland given the status changed from Single to Married?

E-mailed them twice. First time, I got a response after a day. Second time, I got a response after a few hours. The second time, I got a note to keep correspondence to their office at a minimum due to a high level of incoming emails. :D

Same with you since Oct 14, 2017. Last response I got from CPC Ottawa was that my application was in queue for Officer Review. I'm assuming as long as I don't get an update...then it's still in their backlog.
