I requested mine back in june and still didnt get them...they said they needed an additional 60 days to process.The whole thing takes so long and puts such stress on a new marriage.I hope you get that email very soon, but...

I noticed this morning that my accounts had changed so i emailed the embassy just to see if there was something we had to do next. A few hours later in the afternoon they messaged me back and said to be at the embassy on sept 6th.

After 3 and a half years of being apart ( almost 1 and half married) Im happy to say that we received the visa request for Sept 6th :) Many happy tears shed today and a big thank you to everyone that anwsered my questions over the last few months.Best of luck to everyone that is waiting.

I checked my cic account this morning and the medical has now changed to pass... also ecas has that ever important 3rd line!!! Havana had said last week that is all they are waiting on so I am hopeful that it wont be to much longer before that call comes!!

My husband did his medical on May 11th and two months later on July 6th it was received in Ottawa.We submitted our application in Dec and there has hardly been any updates at all, i have received an email from the Havana embassy saying that the only thing holding up visa issuance is the medical...

Oh really :( Why would it take two months for them to send it to Ottawa?? So frustrating to have to wait 5 months for a medical clearence when he has no issues .

My husband did his medical on May 11th...i was told that it takes about three months to process. Today i recevied a response from Havana VO saying that it was sent to Ottawa on July 6th, does this mean it takes three months in Ottawa to process?? Or is it three months in total?? They again said...

Just wondering if anyone is waiting for an update on their application in Cuba. Just from reading the posts and experiences from other members it seems Cuba moves slower ( Cuba time!! :) then other offices. Hoping to we could share our experiences while we wait out this long and slow process.

I received an email from Havana Embassy saying that the only thing they are waiting on was the medical assesment ....anyone have a rough idea of how long this takes?? The medical was done alittle over two months ago.

I don't know why they would ask that but I just have to look at it as being encouraging that at least our file is being picked up from time to time.I am in Newfoundland and yes he is in Cuba. Such a frustrating process but fingers crossed we get that email soon
