Hi, it took around 2-3 weeks for me to receive the passport request email when they changed my BGNA to BGIP. You will get urs really soon! It's just a matter of time. If you are still worried, you should call IRCC and ask for the update of your application status.

Hi, It's a good sign! mine was changed from passed to you do not need a medical as well. You should receive a passport request within 1-2 weeks. I called IRCC and he told me that I did an upfront medical which has been expired. But they extended my medical for another year.

Oh wow. I've read a lot of comments from Jan-March 2016 applicants & april-june 2016 applicants posts and didn't see anybody mention about employment check at all. My AINP is under post graduate category. I really hope that they don't do employment check on those with no-restriction work permit ::)

Post-graduate Category which means there is no restrictions on my work permit. I am still worried that IRCC would call my employer though. Does anybody got a call to your employer from IRCC regarding employment check?
