Did they require you to provide (like some kind of guarantee) before signing a lease? alot of places ask for employment letter or/and credit history.

We applied in July 2008 and now finally got our landing papers - 8/30/2010. We have till end of Feb 2011 to land in Canada. We will have an addition of new family member by end of October. What do we do now?????? Baby will be US citizen. What option do we have now..... sooooo worried...
