Is there any particular reason for not including durations 1 and 2? For Singaporeans (sorry I am not too sure about foreigners but it should not be too different) SPF issues the COC that says "no criminal record prior to the date of issurance". So regardless of your "number of residence...

SPF does not send your COC to IRCC directly. If you are applying from overseas the COC will be mailed to you directly. From SPF FAQ: 9. I am residing overseas; do I need to come to Singapore to apply for COC? Applicants residing overseas can apply and pay for COC via the eCOC webpage. Upon...

Using CPF for Singaporeans seems like a hit-or-miss... You can give it a try but your mileage may vary. Since you have a brokage account you can provide your SGX statement/ brokage statement as POF. Again they may or may not like it so make sure your Letter of Explanation is convincing enough...

Wow you are super lucky! When I went to POSB (2 branches actually) they told me they do not stamp statements... Maybe they changed policy lately? Anyways congrats on saving $120!

Statements (e- or otherwise) can be forged and hence do not carry as much weight as a letter signed and stamped by the bank and its staff. I would recommend going for the proper letter considering you've probably spend about 1k (and another 1k in the coming weeks) on the application a mere...

I requested 6 letters from DBS, each with the closing balance as of the end of the past 6 months. Paid $120+GST so it's definitely not cheap. I found Standard Chartered Bank to be the most lenient in these letters: they let you choose the account you wish to report, the info you wish to let...

Seems like many have this "upload passport and photo" thingy appearing in their MyCIC account... I guess it's got something to do with VO? My application (appears to be) processed in CPC-Ottawa doesn't have this showing up... Maybe it's a SGVO-specific thing.

Shouldn't be an issue. You may want to upload the new document through Case-Specific Enquiry but there is probably no need to do so. IRCC would be able to find your medical report by searching for your UMI number.

I agree. I tend to think the clause IRCC gives is more of a leniency clause based on the fact "SPF doesn't typically issue COC w/o supporting material" and allow applicant to submit the documents prior to getting the COC. They would be more than happy to accept an application where the COC is...

He won't. Many have done so and their applications went through without a problem. Unless you have other family members included in your application, which would then require the letter from IRCC as it would be the only letter where all applicants are listed so you can apply COC for each and...

I don't think there's gonna be any problem in doing so as others have apparently done so too. If you're worried, get all your (other) documents ready and submit your complete application package the day you receive your COC so there's no gap.

My AOR was 22 Nov and meds passed a day after that. BCIP yesterday and PPR today. Nothing particularly interesting in my timeline lol I'm guessing maybe it's SGVO? But the Appendix B mentions CPC-Ottawa so I don't know...

My background check has finally going in progress today. Took SGVO quite a while to open my file apparently

I believe both passports need to be sent to SGVO for final processing. You may raise a CSE to change "stamping VO" but that's probably not the best idea and would take forever for them to process (you should check with an experienced immigration lawyer on this though) What I feel is easier...

Which bank do you bank with? I had to get my bank cert from 2 banks: Standard Chartered was very helpful and they had a section on the application form where you can tell them exactly what you need and they will provide it in the letter; DBS/ POSB was quite rigid in this regard, and I had to...
