Don't write the term withdraw just explain it different way, like you need your passport for some reasons or so. I did it. I didn't affect my application. So it's alright. I got my visa afterwards.

Delay is always a good sign. They won't keep u wait for months just to say no. If there was sth wrong they would have rejected u at first place

The time it takes changes case to case basics. Some get the passport by a week and some have to wait for a month. But it takes about 2 weeks in average

Guys from Bangladesh. Whoever is waiting for their visa from a very long time try to send a fax to them. In my case I didn't get a respond from them for 6 months but when I sent the fax they immediately requested my Passpirt the very next day

The immigration officer will check ur files and other stuffs for last clearance in the airport. Based on this they will issue the visa.

Oh alright ! Then u might wanna send an email to them asking about the progress.

Vfs has no clue why is it taking so long. However I tried contacting the embassy, they replied it's waiting for further review. I hope to get a response next week. If I don't receive any response then I'll be pursuing my secondary choice
