Thats a good point. Even my friend who did masters in canada had acquired 10 years visa to USA.From canada i guess it is some wat easy to get into US than from India .

Today is lucky day for me I guess.. got a offer for 8Lac package .... strange it is... :O and also a mail from UIUC(USA) that my application is selected for top 40 applications out of which 30 will be offered admission... 8) ;D :D

@harvijay regarding paid r unpaid i meant was about internships.. and regarding the visa process i just wanted you to highlight the important point which you think might be helpful... And i am very well aware of things that i have to take care and do my research on.

@Harvijay bhai can you say me how is the course? employment ? paid r un-paid? the webite says there r 3 categories.. r we alloed to take one of these 3 r the department will allot us ? and visa process like i have saved 15 lac for the past 3.5 years and rest will be bank loan how is the process...

Even Vidya Ramamoorthy asserted the same to me in mail. The department is very responsive through mail... only thing is the time they take

If you see DECISION MADE and then Written notification to be followed then it is pakka that you r REJECTED. but my status just only says written notification to be followed right from the moment they updated the system so it is not a reject.

"Written notification to follow" this status is there for a long time.. like for about 3 months God only knows what it takes them this much time.. the delay it takes less the possibilities of being admitted. Ex : @vijay has received his admits in Dalhouise for the same macs with in 3 weeks...

11 Oct bro... Again I have mailed them today... :'( dont know what is the problem, I have CGPA -8.72, IELTS -7, 3+ Years IT experience,Strong LOR, despite all these got reected in Toronto,Ottawa,Carleton... my last hope is Dalhousie :(
