**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Thank you everyone for your advice on the whole... bring him up for a long-term visit thing. We'll have to look into finding a way to freight some of his stuff so it doesn't look suspicious and finding documentation of requirement to return to the US at the end of his visit. Tracking from...

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

A refundable plane ticket would be a lot more feasible than paying to ship all of his things. He doesn't have furniture or anything but it cost him $42USD to send me the paperwork back by express; I can only imagine how much something with an actual weight would cost. He has financial...

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

My mother and I are planning to bring my partner up for one of these "visits" with his cat and his belongings (stuff that he doesn't actually need in the US for the day-to-day like books, etc, with the intent to store it at my place until the official move) now that our application has been...

**OCTOBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Depending on how long via express post it takes for my partner to send me his paperwork we might end up being November applicants but I'm still hopeful to get it sent in this month :D

**OCTOBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Someone on another thread mentioned getting the photo taken and then cutting it to the correct dimensions yourself, would that work? He lives in the boonies and we really want to have our application submitted before the end of the month.

**OCTOBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

My partner will be sending me his paperwork today or tomorrow and then I can finalise compiling everything into the package to submit! We're having an issue with his photos though. The requirements specifically state that they have to be 2" by 2 3/4" but Walgreens uses a machine that cuts them...

**OCTOBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

I read on one of the other threads that it can take anywhere from 10 to 20 days before you receive an AOR1. I would recommend patience until the 20 days passes before worrying :)

**OCTOBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

I'm going to assume that it's based on when they receive it, but I haven't submitted yet either so I'm just guessing at this point.

    SEPTEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS >>>>>>>

Thank you so much for clarifying that! We'll make sure to use very careful language when crossing the border. To your question: I did look for an October Applicants thread but couldnt find one. Edit: Found it! Guess I should migrate there since I'll be submitting this month. Another question...

    SEPTEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS >>>>>>>

My fiancé just finally received his FBI criminal background check so we're compiling the rest of our paperwork in the hopes of submitting this month! Terribly exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. Can anyone tell me what process is required for him to come live up here while the...
