I got a strange feedback from my employer who said that ESDC has asked them to deposit one year salary as security before issuing the LMIA. Probably , the employer wants to make money from me ! Any views ! Did anyone face similar situation ?

I am in India and applied through a Canadian lawyer in Alberta in July '16. Still waiting for the approval. My employer called up ESDC and they say it is in que . Anyone who has similar experience in Alberta!

I applied in Nov'16 with a score of 85 . The last I heard was that Nov applications closed at 87. I am assuming that Dec'16 would have also closed around the same , as I did'nt get an LAA. Any updates ?
