    Another option you can try is get a Magic Jack with Alberta number and forward the calls to your US number. When the employer from Alberta calls he will dial a Alberta area number and you will receive the call in the US. Be prepared to travel to Alberta for a face to face at short notice.

    There is nothing wrong in moving outside quebec if you really inteded to live in Quebec and made a serious effort to settle there but failed. But if you moved outside quebec immediately after landing then this means you only used quebec system to immigrate to Canada not to immigrate to Quebec...
