Guys, It looks like, they are sleeping on the approved applications for the applicants within Canada. I've got PPR on 5th Aug and till now no sign of COPR or Portal email.... Such a sad and painful situation.

To my understanding, webform is just to inform them the applicant is in Canada. Nothing else. They will create profile in a new system and will provide you with credentials to login and upload the photos.

I would request all who are waiting on virtual landing (With PPR but waiting for virtual landing portal message) to get connected on a group on whatsapp for quick updates. You may send me your number on jaymechanical@gmail.com, I will create a whatsapp group so we all can be updated and informed...

It seems this is a new way of confirming PR applications to avoid Covid outbreak for applicants within Canada. I am still waiting to hear from them on such request, already raised the webform. Please keep updating your status so we can be sure on what's going on.

You should not be bothered about it if your child is in Canada. My daughter is in Canada so passport will be submitted to Ottawa.

Got Pre-arrival for my daughter's application today.

My daughter's application is showing In Process in ECAS. I hope it is IP2 and not IP1 as I missed checking it for a while. Let's see how it goes and keep this thread updated.

The general response timeline of extension application is 208 days (6.5 months) as of now. So until you get response from them, you r child can stay in Canada on Implied status.

No base of this news buy looking at the situation, I am just being conservative.
