When did you pay for your removal fees? Does anyone know if they ask for removal fees that means it has been approved? Also, when is the interview before they ask for removal fee or after? Oh God! this process is killing me!

OMG! Makes me think we should have applied from Beijing it seems! I have no news from my case either! I have no idea how long this will take. It's been 1.5 months since they asked for our ARC fees so far!

It seems that different VOs have different processing times. Based on what I've read here Beijing is one of the fastest. Which visa office did you send your documents to?

I'm not sure of the paper process but for me, I did get a confirmation online. In your case, cashing your money order means they've started your ARC. :)

Once I have the ARC, I won't lose it. I promise! :)) My daughter wants to follow up via MP (Member of Parliament) and not VO. She is hoping that we can make it to Canada so that we can be part of the wedding ceremony. I sure hope to be able to celebrate her day with her!

Two weeks sure is very fast. I applied in June 2016 online (through Istanbul, Turkey) for TRV (with a letter explaining ARC) and they have asked for the ARC fees in August 2016. They haven't even acknowledged the fees being submitted yet! :o

Hello Common sense says that if the visa is issued on your passport then it is linked to your current passport #. If you apply for a new passport a new number is issued. Also they would punch your old passport which in my opinion automatically voids the visa! I suggest to contact CIC before...
