Thanks, i got my medical updated on 26th august. i received the mail from CIC around 12 in the afternoon. Couple of hours before i got my visa approval, my application status changed to "updated" and then it went back to its initial status,submitted. hope this helps. good luck :)

Hey guys, I applied for a Canada Study permit on the 29th of July, Vfs Bangalore and yesterday I got a email stating that there's been an update in my application. Basically I logged onto my cic account to check for any updates but there wasn't any
