Well, I would do the same thing! And about you being asked to pay the landing fee. I believe it is a great thing, mostly if your medicals turned out good. Your process is moving and if they already asked the additional documents your Passport request must be very close.

Well, Harper did say he was going to reduce the landing fee. But, I guess that will have to go through parliament. Harper will start on the 6th of february, who knows if he's going to keep his promise, and if it will happen any time soon.
