    It seems to greatly vary. For me it was: Friday -> MyCIC (DM), Monday -> CoPR and ECAS. Others have reported any other possible combination on this forum, I believe.

    Yeah, for me, MyCIC flipped to 'approved' on a Friday. The next Monday, I received an email saying that the COPR has been sent out and on the same day, we found it in our mailbox (inside Canada).

    As of today, myCIC is showing our application as completed and approved!! ;D Wohoo! That means, I'll be able to officially land when I come back from my Christmas visit to home. This was so fast, wonderful :-)

    Yay! Most US people got their approval pretty quickly after having the background check started! (I'm still waiting... week 3 of background check ::) though not US citizen)

    I've seen this happening before in the Vienna VO thread. I got an email regarding an update today, as well. For me, the interview field changed to 'not needed at this time'.

    From what I read in this forum before, chances are not so big. But you could make a case specific inquiry and ask for it. Did you apply as common-law or as spouses?

    For those people, that are visa-exempt, will they ask to send in the passport to put in a PR-something (stamp..), or will they just send the confirmation of permanent residence (COPR) letter? Which document will one use at the border to 'activate' your PR status (flagpole)?

    And you need to keep his address for correspondence? Otherwise, he could just come and visit you as a visitor.
