You should be good in that case.

I would say you have a pretty decent chance if you have submitted a return flight along with travel bookings. It would have helped more had you shown some kind of family ties to India like your parents or other family members living with you here.

I applied to the Hyderabad VFS office on 5th July. Received acknowledgement via SMS that it was submitted to the Bangalore office on 6th July. Linked it to the online account on 12th July. Are you sure I will know by tomorrow as its only been a week.

I received an email today (paper application linked to online account) saying there is an update on the application but nothing has changed. Is this common?
