On July 13 and my tracker got active last Friday.

Yes I just did and the lady was super nice, she told that the passports were mailed today but my tracker was still not active so she said it was just mailed out today with a lot of other passports so give it some time. Hopefully yours was also in there.

Did you ever call them? I have the exact same time line as you but my tracker is still not active.I am thinking to call them today.

So that means they approve the case, generate the counterfoil numbers and then send it to printing,mine is also stuck, it was approved on 13 June and i thought the next step is to courier it back and thinking that I made travel plans on aug 2....

Since there were no status updates on cic account, I sent them an email 7 days ago to confirm if my passports have reached, I got a reply back yesterday saying passport will be sent out shortly. But the reply also states the passports will be sent out using Canada post bla bla.. while I have...

The number didn't work for me, I guess its just for ppl in canada.

Fedex , I went to them yesterday to make sure the account that they created for a return envelope does have a valid credit card linked to it and I was told without that the account creation itself is not possible . So I guess passports are still with CIC.

CIC, I used fedex and I am in the U.S, do you know which number can I use to call CIC (from outside Canada)?

I Am also in the U.S and my case got approved on 07/13, tracker still not active.Moreover I have already taken leave, booked tickets and interview for H1b on 2nd August, getting worried now.

Can someone guide what is the next step once the application is approved? Does that means they have already printed the visas. My application status is approved with a counterfoil number generated, but its been 5 days and the tracker is still not activated. I am flying to Canada on 2nd August...

Mine took 15 days from the date cic received, tracker still not activated so it will be a little while for you, say near around 25 july.For very few ppl its really quick for most its 10-15 days for others the wait time is longer.
