Called CIC yesterday. The lady said my PR card was mailed out on Sept 15th. Still waiting.... (landing on Aug 13 @ Rainbow bridge)

----landed on Aug 13 ----- I called CIC yesterday and was told my card is in production... and it is the last step... i guess it still takes several steps to print a card , review , validation, approval etc..... hoping to receive the plastic in mailbox by eow next week...

is there any explanation why your photos submitted earlier is not valid and you have to re-submit photos ?

IT IS ACTIVATED!!!! I checked on canada post website and it is activated but i did not receive any email alert. I guess there is a lag. Good luck everyone !

i did not receive any canada post notification ... i guess not today... will have to wait for tomorrow....

Yea ! That also works! For me, i will have to get the travel document... :'( Cause I do not have a US Visa and my flight back will be directly to Toronto... I have not received the Canada Post notice yet... did yours get activated ..?

to your point, i called CIC regarding this 'Express PR' application. However, it is only available for PR Renewal , NOT FOR FIRST TIME PR Card Application. our only option is to apply for travel document, which also costs $50.

Can I apply for PR travel document when I land ....? I am going to travel outside Canada in Oct... not expecting to receive my card by then ....

when did you notice the change... ? like 5pm ? should i expect mine to be activated soon...

does anyone know the reasons for rejected photos ? i am planning to land at niagara this/next weekend. would it help if i retake my photos now and provide them to the officers when i land....? trying to avoid future problems...
