Spreadsheet Update: MY CIC application changed to application approved on October 24th. Wondering what the next steps are? My husband is from UK, visa exempt country. Do we just await the COPR in the mail?

I check my CIC daily. Today it has been updated to application approved! :) :)

My husband (UK resident) and I just found out his application will be processed through Ottawa! See our timeline to the left.

Sponsorship approval came via email today :) :) Also was told that my husbands application will be processed through Ottawa instead of London! Best news yet!!

I thought UK is visa exempt? Why do you still have to send passport to London?

Must have updated ECAS today. I also am now able to view status by using sponsor details. In process for myself, and received for my husband (Applicant) Received June 21 AOR July 7

Yes mine was received at CIC on June 21st, also delivered by Canada Post.

Just got an email from CIC confirming that they have received my application on June 21 to sponsor my husband. It has a UCI number at the first of the email. So is this email considered my AOR1??

We had to travel to Greece to apply. We applied from Rhodes, as we were on holiday there. From there, the KEP office had to forward a request to athens. It's been over 5 weeks and still nothing. The KEP office said it can take over a month.. From there, we will have to have a friend in Greece...
