My contract only states that employment will commence upon obtaining a Valid visa and successful entry into canada and it also mentions a 3 months probation period.

Thank you for your reply, so basically the moment the employer cancels the contract it means the visa in my passport becomes useless. The reason why he might cancel the contract is because he hired 2 of us for the job now the other guy is already in Canada working but the employer is not happy...

The Visa i have is written W-1 Worker and issued on 01/06/2016 expires on 01/07/2018
