Hi PandaChan, I think you sent it to the correct address because base on the email CPC sent us, if you have a mailing address in the USA you send photocopy of your passport and 2photos to Laurier Avenue West. And if you have Canada mailing address you send it to a PO Box address

My ECAS and My CIC is so confusing. On my ECAS says Decision Made, Principal Applicant and Sponsor however on MyCIC it still says there that Back Ground Check: In Process. What does it mean? should I stop worrying now? or I still need to think of the process?

Hi Sohini, We just sent my spouse's passport and her photo with it thru Canada Post Xpresspost. Coz it says on the email that they don't accept any other courier, in case you're in Canada. Did you use Canada Post? Just hang in there

On your ECAS, does it show your US address or your sponsor's address?

Congratulations. I just want to ask, did you put your US address as your mailing address on the application? How come they send COPR letter to your sponsor's address ? Is that always the case? I'm sponsoring my wife who is a US PR

Hello, does anyone know if you can call Visa office to confirm what's the address on your file because when I check the Principal applicant's (my wife) ECAS they put different address. I'm just worried that they will send COPR letter to a wrong address.

Wooh, I just went to check my wife's (principal applicant) ECAS, the address that shows there was my home address here in Canada, which is actually different from the address that we wrote on the application.

I thought we can only change Sponsor's address on ECAS but not the Principal Applicant's address
