DM today!

Do the applications not get served on a first come first served basis? Doesn't seem fair that people in april are getting DM and I haven't had any correspondence since getting my SA letter >:( . Are some officers just useless or what?

Sorry for thread hijacking, but how long did the notes take to receive after submitting? Is a month accurate?

I feel like we're in the same boat. I don't mind waiting but the lack of ANY updates is very worrying to me. To me that shows that they haven't started working on it yet, but it could just be that some officers don't update ecas? It would be nice if it just had an update like "we last worked...

I have had "In Process" since April 8th, so a little over 2 months. I haven't had any updates either; just the 2 lines in Ecas. I'm at Ottawa Visa office as well which is supposed to be one of the fastest. Never have gotten an email from them. Only SA through snail mail. Does yours sound...

Maybe it's just like crossing the border, like how whatever lane you choose is guaranteed to be the slowest. :D

Seeing the wide variance on processing times, even at the same visa offices, it seems that they just throw applications received on a pile and then randomly choose what one to process. You just gotta hope you're the one they pick next! ;D

well let's hope we both get DM in the next few weeks! :D

Thanks for the positive feedback! The only thing I can really do is wait so I might as well stop worrying. Let's see where I am at the end of the month and then I can start worrying :P.

Sorry for the lack of information. I am sponsoring my American wife. I got sponsorship approval on march 31 and my ecas does say "in process". I have not received any additional document requests. AOR was on feb23 and AOR2 was on April 8. Me and my wife have never received any email...
