    Well...not necessarily, there is still a chance you may get after that period. One of my friends went to canada after 3 weeks, he missed a lot of classes but he got it late because of secondary clearances !!

    it has nothing to do with the visa. All the details will be mentioned in the Study Permit which you will get at the Canadian Airport.

    yeah those who have emailed at least once, it's not wise to do it again, nothing to do but to keep waiting for a decision.

    yes you can work off campus. Study permit allows you to work 20 hours per week. You do no need a seperate work permit to work. All the best !

    Shuvon, 2 of them got the visa within time, but they missed their classes for 2 weeks, and the others have applied again on the winter session.

    Well I don't think so. Some of my friends even missed their September session because of this clearance. I sincerely hope you are infornt of the queue to get your processed within time. May Allah help you !!

    If they do take the last week of december off, it takes atleast 10 days to sort out passport, so you guys should be getting instructions very soon since time is really the factor right now. :( :(

    Secondary clearance is mainly about checking your financials and whether you are genuine student or not. If all your papers are true and strong, you have nothing to worry about.
