    that is normal, just wait and it will change to background check is in process as soon as they start. for my wife's application it took 2 months from Not Applicable to Background Check is in process. then after that everything went fast to approved, passport request and issuing of Visa.

    a PR landed can travel anywhere in Canada. and yes PR landed can stay a few days in a province then fly to another.

    it means that your application is already sent to the applicant's visa office and they started processing it. you will receive AOR2 soon. we have exactly the same timeline.
