Thank you, no, the landing paper for the date and time is dated the 15th so it was sent to my email at about 10am that morning. One week after DM.. I had to take a vacation day at work in order to be present.
Worth the sacrifice.
Thanks!!
**UPDATE** My husband received his permanent residence status on Sept 20. 2016.
We arrived about 15 mins before 1pm, they requested we be there between 1-3pm.
The security at the desk was pretty rude and not personable at all, and they asked for our letter they had sent and she gave us a...
sorry yes, this is what I meant lol it was late last night as I wrote that.
My apologies but the jist of what I was saying was that her application was not complete.
We received AIP which is the second AOR just for the applicant by email and the first AOR by mail.
Looks like the same process to me .. not long after AIP was sent in the mail we were sent the request for passport and then medical.
Thank you! Will do.
Doesn't look like your too far behind us as well, your app was received 7 days after ours.
I'm hoping you get through fast as well.
Thank you.
And your absolutely Right! I believe you will be done soon as well, looking at your timeline.
And I don't care for all the money I spent it's worth it to be holding the document in our hands...
Nothing compares to the feeling he has right now.
... it official.
My husbands landing interview is next week! God is soooo good.
He's been waiting for this for a long time, and we received an email
this morning indicating his PR granting interview in Etobicoke.
That was fast. I guess I don't need those notes I ordered after all.
We also paid...
question.. regarding the two columns in the permanent resident application
The "sponsorship application status" column is the one with the "decision made" under it.
But the "permanent resident application status" column is the one that just says application received.
I've been racking my brain...
Thanks! Hopefully you get streamlined as well.
I've seen a few other people on other forums get the same "decision made" message as we did
but not application closed final decision has been approved, so it makes me nervous lol
even though I know nothing is wrong with the app I always get...
So... I've been stalking the CIC website like a hawk!
My husbands app was sent March 21, 2016.
& today the status changed from "in process" to "decision made".
We sent the RPRF with the application and did the medical and the time has come.
All we are waiting for now is the email or letter ...
no problem! I realized they don't care for stuff like that as long as you put it in as it says in the instructions, you'll be just fine. Considering they are legible and in blue or black ink.
I typed all the application on the computer and little things like that where I didn't have space I wrote in.
So for example I typed Married and printed it out then right under it small but very legible I wrote physically present. Hope that helped
