Passports send on Aug24th and delivered in Ottawa on Aug 25th. Application closed and approved on Sep 1st. Tracker not activated yet. Sent an email this morning asking about it. Cheers!

Re: Passport tracking ? CIC requests that you send a prepaid XpressPost along with your passports. On this envelope, you fill in with your address and keep the top part of the sheet. This way, you keep the tracking code with you. I sent my passports to Ottawa on Wednesday. Cheers!

They did not ask this. They asked to send the passports of the accompanying family members... But I assume this is simply to the ones that will get the PR, which is not needed for my daughter, since she is a Canadian Citizen. But wanted to double check with you guys and if you know any number...

Hello, tks for the reply. Just go to the Processing Times section on MyCIC. And then you answer two questions... "Permanent Resident Cards" and "Yes (new PR Card)". I totally understand the times are longer, just wondering how this number is calculated.

Hello Guys! I have received my AOR on Feb 27th. At this stage I have Medical Exams Passed. My background check was in progress and then it changed to Not needed at this time. Is this normal? Could this be an issue with the system? Tks!
