I am in the same boat. I just got the medical received last week. My file was acknowledged by NDVo on May 2, 2016. We have the similar timeline.

I am in the same boat. March 23 applicant and my file hasn't been touched at NDVO. Medical hasn't been received either. I hope we will all see our spouses before christmas break.

I did this. Everyone please leave feedback at link above regarding outland spouse visa wait time.

I am as the same timeline as you people. Hopefully we get to see our spouses this year, as CIC has posted the notice on June 23 on the website regarding reducing the backlog. Regarding TRV, my MP sugguested to wait for alteast 6-7 months before applying for TRV, otherwise risk rejection.

Lets create a petition on this government for expedting NDVO and TRV for spouses waiting for visa.

Where did you hear this ?

My local MP said that CIC has got the funding they need and they have hired 200 or more visa officers for this backlog. I asked for a letter for TRV application, but he asked me to wait another month. He told me they are targetting 4-5 months for processing of Spouse visa. So, hope for the best...

I am a March 23 2016 applicant. I don't have the medical received line either for my wife. Her medical expires next year.
