When did you receive MR? I'm July 14 applicant. The officer on call told me the same thing. He never talked anything about security though. He told me to wait until end of January and I should hear something by then, that's what he told me.

Try to call CIC and book an appointment for further at Harry Hays building in Calgary downtown. Avoid going to the border if possible. Cheers!

They are still reviewing whether eligibility requirements are met or not. Background check is in process but i wonder why is the eligibility still under review? Does anyone have idea regarding this?
