Hello forum-ies, final update. Landing was done the 21st of June, upon my return from a trip in the US. Everything went smooth, I was not asked any specific question and I got a new SIN within minutes. I'll just wait until the card will get home! Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Easier than expected, I guess it will be more trouble notifying all the connected services (phone, bank, etc...) than getting a SIN. Thanks Nmeka!!

Thanks nmeka for the good news, 30 days should be enough to send the passport in case they request it. And if they don't, even better. What would happen if I get the CoPR while I am away? Would I do the landing upon my return? In that case, I might need to leave with the necessary landing...
