I got mine in 2 days after my LPP updated.

Finally the wait is over. I got the Oath Invite and instructions to download e-certificate this morning, scheduled for Dec 19 (Online). Got the email from Saskatchewan Office but my processing office is Vancouver. My tracker still hasn't updated. It still shows "Not Started".

It depends on each application. Mine took 2 months. My tracker updated test completed on Oct 6. Got LPP update on Dec 5th. For some it was quicker.

Congratulations! India doesn't allow dual Citizenship. If you need to go to India you will need to apply for a Visa or OCI card. But you can travel everywhere else with you Canadian passport, just see the rules of entry for the country you are traveling. I guess the next steps for you is to...

Congrats, Can you tell me if your "Citizenship Ceremony" section on your tracker turned to In Progress first before you got the invite? it seems to be diffrerent for some people, they are getting the invite and the E-Certificate download instructions emails first and the tracker still shows...

Finally an update. My LPP got updated on Dec 1, but updated on my account today. Citizenship Oath still showing "Not Started". everything else is complete. Can anyone here comment on how long it took for their Oath to update after LPP is completed?

Same boat as everyone here. Applied August 3, 2023. I have had similar time lines as most people here but just stuck at LPP. Hoping to get a response for December ceremony.

Well, that’s good to know and a relief. Anyway like I said, each case is different. I am also with Vancouver office. I guess we should stay positive and expect updates in Jan 2024 if there’s no updates for the last ceremony in December before they close for the holidays.

I don't think you can attend outside Canada since you need to cut your PR card during ceremony. Best bet is to email them and reschedule.
