Yes My wife received the visa today and along with the Permanent Residence documents. We submitted the passport on Jan 5th 2017 and received today. It took 17 months processing time and all i can say MP inquires are helped me.

I am August 2015 Applicant. Medical was expired in June 2016 and VO requested the re-medical after 4 months.

VO asked my wife to do re-medical after 4 moths. Initial medical was expired in June 2016.

VO request my wife to do the re-medical 2 days back............... initial medical was expired in June.

I guess now you have get legal representative to deal with CIC and you should. for my case i have passed 13 months.

CO requested additional documents and handed-in Feb 2016 and medical expired 3 months ago and didn't request for re-medical yet. I got touch with my MP office and talking to them back and forth.......... telling me to wait another month.

Hi Lav, I went to the Colombo visa office with wife in June 2016 and security guard didn't even let me in. i was told that i can't meet the visa officer without appointment.

Exactly same response i got from MP.

medical not needed at this time!!!
