Yes I did translate and was certified by notary public. Afterwards attached along with original photo copy of Id and submitted.

when did you apply..? I am a 2015 Oct applicant and got additional doc request in Jan 2016, since then it is silence.

I know 2 people who sponsored their wives in 2015 ( June & July) got PR in Jan and Feb 2016.

One of my friend who applied in july 2015 and got visa for his wife in Feb 2016.

It should be give to Canadian embassy in Sl. Put all the requested docs in a envelop along with the copy of e- mail that requesting docs. DONT seal the envelop.Because when you going to submit the docs to Canadian embassy in SL the security officer asks to open the envelope and looking for...

I have applied 1 month before you. They ask from me Sl id copy and i sent it. but I did not get any update such as y. So I think your status update is a positive sign as they working on yr case. Vo did not ask schedule A background.. from me instead they ask Sl Id copy... did they ask Sl Id...

Instead of 47 now it is 36 but it is mentioned 17 months... for sri lanka before it was 9 months.. but now it says 17 months.. so it is increased..so there is possibility for increased period.. worring about this matter

2 of my friends got in 2016 jan . it took them 7 months for whole process. Those days processing time for Sl was 11 months in total. but now processing time is 17 month... I dont know how this new timing goining to effect
