My application has been approved and closed as of last Friday. However, I checked my Canadapost tracking number and it seems that CIC has not sent my passport and COPR yet. It has been almost a week. Is this normal? Please advise

My application has finally been approved on April 30th (oddly enough on a Saturday). PPR was on the 15th. waiting for my passport back now.

Congrats! I think you can start working again even without the hard copy as long as your SIN number is re-validated. Just to be sure, you should call CIC or go to your local CIC office. Cheers
