Yeah that's exactly what they are going to do..They anyway had to come after VISA stamping, now they are coming here in two weeks (have 10 years multiple VISA) and we will courier there passports right after. Thanks Guys. I am glad I checked out or else it would have delayed so much. Good luck...

So is it not a good idea to ask Parents to send passports internationally ? Has anybody tried that ? Or maybe then I should ask CPCO to send instructions to send passports to the nearest VISA office...Any good suggestions ?

Did you get an update ? We submitted PCC 2 weeks back and yesterday got PPR request from Ottawa. Now in the email it states that if you want an address outside Canada then send us an email. Taking a leaf out of your exp., I am going to ask my parents to send their passports to me and I will...

I don't think so! Even if you got the req. to submit from Ottawa, I think you should submit it in India bcoz your parents r in India. ???

After submitting PCC/RPRF, how long did it take to get PPR ?

2016 Parents File - Asked for PCC now; Have already received Pre-arrival letter and paid RPRF fees. Anyone has an idea after submitting PCC, how long wud it take for CIC to request PPR ?

2016 Jan 5 Purolator 8:52 - Got Medicals in early May. My Parents in India got it done in a week. Last week got Pre-Arrival Letter, RPRF request and req for Schedule A forms re-filled. Paid the RPRF and sent the forms! Hopefully Paspport req. should be next....fingers crossed!

Got SA today...8:52 Purolator Jan 5th..

Status changed to "In Process" , hoping for a SA soon..

But CIC's website says working on Jan 2014 applications, then why would it take 5-6 yrs ?
