Hey folks, Completed six months today. I called IRCC today, and the lady said my application is still under process and the only thing I can do now is to wait.. When I asked her about the Six months processing time limit, she said that is the average time it took for most cases to be finalized...

You cannot get back your old GC Key.. The only way forward is to create a new GC Key. Once you create a new GC key, you can link your existing application to the new account. Please note that you can only link an application which you already submitted and is currently in Progress with IRCC.
