Thanks for your answer. I'll complicate things a little bit. I also have submitted an application for a sponsorship visa (my partner is Canadian), and I assume they will be able to see it in their system. Is that expected to cause any trouble?

Hi, I am an exchange student in Canada. The semester ends mid-April and my study permit is valid until July 29th. Can I travel outside of Canada (not US) and re-enter with my study permit before it expires even though school is technically over? I couldn't find anything on CIC website. Thanks
